aleesa bautista

Hi! My name is Aleesa, I was born and raised in the East Bay of California and spend my days as a Intensive Care Unit social worker, and spend my nights working on my craft. I love travelling and taking pictures of everything I see, journaling, and writing novels in my spare time.Since I was very young, I loved drawing with graphite, painting with acrylics, and story writing. Nowadays, I specialize in digital art, character design and concept art, and currently interested in making webcomics and visual novels! My dream career has always been video game character design and storyboard designing, becoming a comic book author and artist, or owning my own art-studio-slash-cafe.While I'm not yet there in terms of treating my craft like a business, I love drawing for people and making people happy with my art.My current interests are Tokyo Debunker Joseimuke, TWST, and various boys love Manhwas and mangas. Feel free to follow my work and I look forward to hosting you!

shop

Here you'll find my shops that are hosted by RedBubble . Hopefully one day soon I'll be able to open up my own shop, managed strictly by me, so that I can control quality and have a touch of love with every order. For now, support my small business by clicking the links below, and if you run into any problems with your orders, please contact the site's contact team directly, as I do not manage these storefronts. Thank you for your support!

In a world where anomalies hide in plain sight, Yara Du Verre was born hearing a voice — whispering from nowhere, humming beneath her skin, murmuring in the tides, looping through her dreams, and beckoning from the dark. She gave it a name and carved it a place in her soul. Now, she swears she'll follow the Whispering — even into the ocean’s depths, where the light dies — just to learn what it wants and why it chose her to haunt.

About the Project

Yara Du Verre is my Tokyo Debunker OC.Since I was a kid, I loved consuming fan art, fan fiction, and creating my own OCs but never had the guts to do anything with my interests. I still have some OC art work from my childhood. With Yara and her world, the story I've called Whispering Tides, started off as a bit of self indulgence story inspired as a ship to Jin Kamurai, but it became so much more to me. In many ways, she carries a part of me, my dreams, my aspirations, my hobbies, my thoughts about the world (seen and unseen), and in other ways she carries a part of everyone else I've ever met that has made me feel alive. And that's the truth of the project and what it's become — it is something that makes me feel alive and human as I create it. It may never mean a whole lot to the world and its story may never actually see the light of day in its entirity, but right now, as I create it, that's what it is to me — something I've made with my two hands and my heart.I hope if you've stumbled across it, you see my heart in it, even if it is art that is born of another serialized piece of work. You can visit the website I created below to see her interactive room, lore and fanon to the Tokyo Debunker world, and read the Visual Novel I'm slowly updating! Everything visually you've see there (apart from the Frostheim and Darkwick logos) are artworks I've drawn.Enjoy your time deep in Yara's ocean.
